Welcome
to Athens!! You are met at the airport by our friendly representative and
transferred to your hotel where there is time to settle in and relax.
Athens offers a unique mix, combining rich archaeological sites, plenty places with panoramic view and of course a very vivid contemporary cultural life in the fields of performing arts, music and visual arts, as well as worldwide known for its entertaining nightlife. Give the chance to yourself to enjoy some of these pleasures at your first meeting with the city.

DAY 02
ATHENS (B)
The establishment of Athens as a city
dates back to mythological times. Today’s capital is a result of integration of
ancient and medieval history into the contemporary era. Ancient Athens
monuments can be found all around the city center, side by side
with contemporary construction such as buildings, roads and train stations. Our
expert guides will help you to explore the treasures of Athens during your morning sightseeing tour.
Beginning from the Panathenaic Stadium where the
first Olympic games of modern times where held in 1896 and continue with a pass
by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian´s Arch, the Parliament and the
memorial of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University the National
Library and the Constitution Square (Syntagma) you will be amazed of the rich
heritage and how Athens combines the old and the neoclassical in an astonishing
way.
Your tour will be followed by a visit to Acropolis, the ancient
fortified town of Athens, dating back to the Late Bronze Age, the most famous
landmark of entire Greece, the eternal symbol of democracy, education and
inspiration. You will also be impressed by the Parthenon one of the world’s greatest
cultural monuments dedicated to the goddess Athena, the Erectheion and
the Temple of Athena Nike.
Your tour will end with the visit to the
impressive Acropolis Museum, one of the most important contemporary
works of architecture in Athens that houses 4,000 priceless finds from the Acropolis
monuments that represent its history and function as the most important
religious centre of ancient Athens.
The afternoon will be free
to walk at charming
historic districts at the foot of the Acropolis-
Anafiotika, Plaka, Monastiraki
and Thissio with restored 19th
century neoclassical homes, pedestrianized streets, shops and restaurants, and
picturesque ruins from the city's Roman era. You can enjoy your coffee or food
in trendy and
traditional cafes and shops, narrow winding streets, and incredible views of
the Acropolis and of course do not forget to buy some souvenirs for friend and
family.
dAY 03 Athens (8H) by Ferry - SANTORINI (B)
Option by flight: Euro 130 per way. Subject to Change.
Morning
transfer to the port to embark the ferry to Santorini 07:30-15:15
Upon your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel and then you will have the rest of the time to enjoy the stunningly gorgeous Greek isle that it’s rumored in legend to be the lost city of Atlantis.

Walk in the paths of Fira, the picturesque capital of Santorini; perched high up on the
edge of the Caldera and enjoy the views of the volcano, ocean, white-washed
buildings, and blue domed churches. Visit Oia,
Firostefani and Imerovigli and relax while seeing the most beautiful sunset in the
world, drinking some famous traditional wine.
dAY 04 SANTORINI (B)
Enjoy your day exploring distinctive
traditional atmosphere by visiting famous smaller villages like Akrotiri and Messa Vouno, with their
famous archaeological sites, Karterades, Emporio, Ammoudi, Finikia,
Perissa, Perivolos, Kamari, Messaria and Monolithos. They are
surrounded by vast vineyards; whitewashed cliff-top towns with castles
affording amazing views out over the Aegean. Do not forget to visit the Museum
of Prehistoric Thira which hosts the important findings that were brought into
light with the excavations in Akrotiri. Impressive plaster furniture moldings,
bronze pottery items, numerous and luxurious clay vases including the remarkable
pithos with the bull and the unique golden statuette of the wild goat.
dAY 05 SANTORINI Option: by Flight (1H)
MYKONOS (B)
Morning at leisure. At indicated time transfer to airport for
your flight to Mykonos via Athens. Arrival in Mykonos transfer to selected
hotel. Mykonos is the most famous island
in Greece and, with no doubt the most cosmopolitan in Cyclades islands. It has
unique beauties with
archeological, natural, recreational and traditional facets.
dAY 06 MYKONOS (B)
Free
day in Mykonos. Take the chance to explore every path of the island with the all
white-washed cubic houses with blue windows, charming narrow streets with
pebble-stoned pavements and little white chapels with sky-blue cupolas and the
famous Windmills. A walk through Chora, the old port, Little Venice and the
Castle would be an amazing first meeting with the island.
dAY 07 MYKONOS (5H) BY FERRY - ATHENS (B)
Morning at leisure you can visit the
archaeological museum of Mykonos which is located in Mykonos town next to the
harbour and is home to marble sculptures, ceramics, jewels and utensils, all
findings from the excavations in Delos, Rhinia and Mykonos itself. The museum
is famous for the great collection of vases, representative of the distinctive
Cycladic ceramic art, some of which date back to the Geometric period back to
the 6th century b.c.
Or alternatively you can have a visit to the Paraportiani Church which is
one of the most interesting architectural structures in Greece, located near
Mykonos harbour entrance. This peculiar construction is actually a complex of 5
churches. The first 4 were built between the 14th and the 17th century, forming
a base on top of which the 5th one, Panagia
Paraportiani (dedicated to Virgin Mary) was then built. An emblematic
monument of Mykonos, the Cyclades and Greece, Paraportiani church is
responsible for some of the most idyllic pictures ever taken on the island.
Mid-day you will be transferred to the port to embark
the ferry to Piraeus port (14:15-20:00). Arrival and transfer to your Athens
hotel.
dAY 08 MONDAY- ATHENS/ AIRPORT
According to your flight departure time, you will
be transferred to Athens airport to get the flight back carrying in your
´´luggage´´ the wonderful memories of Greek Attractions.
