Day 1 KL – Beijing
Depart from KL at 19:10 (by Air Asia).
Day 2 Beijing (B/L/D)
Arrive in Beijing at 01:15 (by Air Asia). After a warm welcome, our guide will accompany you to hotel for check-in assistance. Our exploration starts with Summer Palace. Being the largest imperial garden in China, it was first built in the Qing emperor Qianlong’s time in 1751 and was restored in 1886 by the Dowager empress Cixi for her own enjoyment. The park became Cixi’s favorite haunt – she even preferred it to the Forbidden City, and named it Yihe Yuan (meaning the garden of health and harmony). After some shopping time at Bamboo Carbon Store, a tasy Halal lunch is ready for us. Pray at the Ming dynasty-built Ma Dian Mosque – a Mosque with unique Chinese style & hundreds years of history. Enjoy the wonderful Acrobatic Show after a Xin Jiang Muslim Flavor dinner.
Day 3 Beijing (B/L/D)
A professional and free Foot Massage at the Herbal Medicine Center will better boost our energy today. We will head to Tian An Men Square first - the largest city square in the world, bordered by the Great Hall of the People and Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum. Close to it is Forbidden City. It is the complex of imperial palace, which was home to Emperors for over 500 years. Grand halls and courts gradually give way to more intimate domestic quarters, giving an insight into the pampered isolation of the emperors. Stop by at Silk Store to get the best quality silk product. The afternoon prayers will be held at the most famous Niu Jie Mosque, followed by a brief visit to Muslim Super Market - the only one for local Muslims in Beijing. Our evening time will be devoted to Wang Fu Jing Shopping Street and its Night Food Market, where you will see a whole collection of Halal snacks.
Day 4 Beijing / Snow World (B/L/D)
On the way to The Great Wall, we will first spend some time at Jade Museum and Crystal Shop to have a better understanding on Chinese culture. Great Wall of China was first built in the Warring States period (475-221BC) as a series of earthworks erected by individual kingdoms as a defense against each other and north invasions. The wall we see now was left from the Ming dynasty. Coming up is the fun of ski playing at Snow World (or sml class). Please note that our price has included entrance, while skiing and ski equipment rental will be on your own. Today’s Lunch will be served at a local Muslim restaurant nearby, followed by some shopping time at Burning Cream Center. The rest of the day is for blast shopping – Xiu Shui Market is the best place to practice bargaining and we will see Aisa’s largest LED screen at The Place – a new and modern shopping center.
Day 5 Beijing – KL (B/L/D)
Check-out in the morning. Stop by at Fresh Water Pearl Center before touring outside Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. Built for the 2008 Olympic Games, these two creatures wins big applaud in the architectural world. Coming up is a fabulous Tea Ceremony at Tea House. The rest of the time will be devoted to Hong Qiao Market. And today’s dinner will be served at Five Star Padang Restaurant - the only Indonesian cuisine (Halal) in Beijing with a fancy tropical decor. We will then go to Beijing International Airport for the midnight flight going home.
